Career Links is an OU scheme that links those with experience in a specific career with students considering a career change. You can register online as a Seeker or a Helper. They have a large number of OU students who have registered as Career Seekers - wanting to talk to specialists in their careers areas. They also need to recruit more volunter Career Helpers to talk to students about their work and career.

Five Divisions act as forums for reviewing research and development in their respective fields. Each Division comprises several specialist Subject Groups (38 in total) which are concerned with research, development and manufacture. Most Groups produce regular newsletters and provide information on relevant meetings. Some Groups make bursaries available to help students attend conferences.
